3. Active Men:

To maintain a healthy body weight, an active man between the age of 19 and 30 requires 3,000 calories in a day whereas the same man from the age of 31 to 50 needs 2,800 to 3,000 calories in a day. An active man above the age of 51 requires a calorie intake of 2,400 to 2,800 to maintain a healthy body weight.
