The newest James Bond movie ‘Spectre’ is here. The movie is a lot in news because first, it is a Bond movie and also because of the Indian Censor Board chopping off the length of its kissing scenes to half.
Even though like other Bond movies, Spectre too offers a lot of action and edge of the seat thrill and suspense, the series has come a long way since the first movie Dr No released in 1962. However, one thing that has remained constant all through these years is James Bond’s impeccable style and fashion sense. We tried decoding his style statement for you.
1. The Suit:
Nobody can display the importance of a well-tailored suit better than James Bond. His suits are so well fitted that they almost seem like a part of his body. They give him a larger than life persona. Bond usually dons single breasted suits as double breasted suits do not give a sharp look when opened. When it comes to colours, the spy sticks to sober colours like Black, Gray, and Blue.
2. The Leather Jacket:
Now James Bond, despite beingall suave and charming, is also a badass, and nothing suits a badass better than a leather jacket. Bond’s black leather jacket enhances his carefree and courageous attitude. He seems like a man on mission and appears even more ruthless vis-à-vis his nemesis.

3. The Bow Tie:
Nobody rocks a bow tie better than James Bond does. It is probably something about the character because every actor who plays him manages to pull it off so impeccably well as if he were born to sport it. His bow ties come in different styles and men often take inspiration from him when it comes to wearing a bow tie.
4. The Turtleneck:
James Bond’s Black Turtleneck first made its appearance in Live and Let Live, where Bond was played by Roger Moore. Turtlenecks make for a nice and much needed departure from his usual formalwear. It makes him appear more confident which in turn make the audience even surer of their hero’s capability of kicking his enemy’s butt.
However, no amount of good styling can make Bond look this good unless he has a good body too. The fit of his clothes appears excellent because of his good physique. From Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, all James Bonds over these last fifty and more years have given fitness goals to men around the world. Daniel Criag, in particular, has taken the game of physical fitness several notches above. Perhaps this is the reason he looks so stylish in whatever he wears.
