1. Learning the ABC of driving:

If it is your first time at the driver’s seat, you are likely to begin with the ABC formula. It translates into Accelerator, Brake, and Clutch and denotes the position of each of these driving tools. The accelerator is at your extreme right, the brake in the middle, and the clutch at the extreme left. With this formula, you will never forget where what is.

2. Practice, practice & practice!

Practice is the key to a smooth ride. The more you practice, the better you become at driving. But it is foolish to expect that your practice sessions will be flawless. Bumping into cars is going to be common during the first few days. It is part of the learning curve, so don’t sweat too much over it.

3. Getting the traffic rules

Just like a smooth ride comes with practice, grasping traffic rules also takes time. You might skip a signal without intending to; you might park your car in the no-parking zone. These teething troubles will vanish with time and before you know it you will be a pro at the traffic rules.

You might be confident of our driving skills. But, you still can’t escape the butterflies in your stomach on the test day.
