1. Gabriel Jesus:
This 21-year lad is a forward player of Brazil and is already a well-known player at club level for Manchester City. He is famous for his attacking skills, versatility and dependability. The Brazilian national team is hoping to intensify the attacking mode by adding Jesus with Neymar. In his own words he says “I’m self-critical and I think of my performance in a game, it doesn’t mean I bring myself down, ever. This is a point that just makes me improve. If I see that I didn’t do well, I am going to want to get better, always. This only helps me out.”
2. Andreas Christensen:
This 22-year-old center-back player of Denmark, who otherwise plays for Chelsea started three consecutive Premier League matches since John Terry in 2000. He normally occupies the middle spot or is sometimes assigned a defensive midfield role. Christensen’s accuracy is astonishing as he has on an average 50 passes in a match with almost 93.4 percent success rate! Recently, Denmark’s manager Age Hareide indicated his intentions to line-up Christensen alongside Sevilla stalwart Simon Kjaer right in the mid of the Danish backline. His performance will be closely watched not only by Hareide but also by football fans as a central midfielder.
3. Trent Alexander-Arnold:
This 19-year-old right-back player who lives with the parents and plays for Premier League club, Liverpool has emerged as the robust player of the England national team. Alex strengths are his passing and crossing skills with an averaged 1.3 key passes, he has bewildering pace that helps him to make overlap runs and also lead the play forward on his own. In his own words, Alex remarks “It’s an honor every time I get the chance to go out on to the pitch, whether it be starting or as a sub, so I’m just happy to get on the pitch whenever I can” Gareth Southgate, English football manager is likely to position him at the wingback on the right as he expects him to play ambitiously and score goals as he did with the England Under-19s, netting seven times in 10 appearances.
