Bollywood has been a fashion inspiration for millions of people since decades. Be it a dress, accessories, or hairstyles, fans love to copy their favourite actors’ fashion and style. Though females are often more enterprising in this department, men too are no less. They are never late in emulating their favourite male stars’ style. Hair styles from Bollywood is most commonly copied these days. Here are some of the stars and their hairstyles which have been copied a lot.

1. Rajesh Khanna:

His hairstyle was perhaps the first Bollywood male hairstyle to become so popular. It was a rage among young men during late sixties and early seventies. The hair were left little long, covering the upper part of your neck . On sides they came close over your ears. The hairstyle was so popular that if even today, when Rajesh Khanna is no more, you mention the Rajesh Khanna hairstyle to your hairstylist and he would get what hairstyle you are talking about.

2. Shahrukh Khan:

Not many actors’ hairstyles became popular after Rajesh Khanna’s and many actors sports in a fashion not very dissimilar from the erstwhile superstar, until the advent of Shahrukh Khan. His hair were long but not as long as Rajesh Khanna’s. He didn’t keep them gelled much and let them go haywire. In many scenes form his movies, his hair can be seen bouncing or waving in air.

3. Salman Khan:

Salman Khan’s hairstyle became really famous after his movie Tere Naam in 2003. He sported two looks in the film- one hairstyle before interval and one after that. The hairstyle interval was basically a shaved head while the one before internet was long hair with flicks on the forehead on each side. The hairstyle was copied by a lot of young men back then.

4. Ranbir Kapoor:

The Bollywood hairstyle that is more popular these days is the short one. It has a neat and proper parting on the left side with most volume of the hair pulled towards the right side. The hair is well waxed or gelled and remains static in one place. We usually do not see flicks here. Actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Fawad Khan, etc. are seen sporting this hairstyle.
