How To Get That Perfect Six Pack

Building a six-pack has been a rage among men since forever, for it is perceived as a symbol of masculinity. Exercising to build abs is possible and easy. However, training and developing them right can be quite challenging.If you are a gym freak, then building your muscles won’t be that difficult.




However, if you are not, then you must start right away. Here are five simple exercises to help you get your dream abs:


1. Side Jack-Knife:

Lie on your side with your left leg on top of your right. Put your left hand behind your hand, elbow slightly flared out and the other hand spread out on the floor in front of you. Slowly bring your left leg and elbow close to each other and then gradually expand. This will put pressure on your sides and abdomen. Repeat this set a few times before switching sides.

2. Cocoon:

Lie on your back and extend your arms behind your head. Bring your knees closer to your chest and lift your backside from the ground and at the same time, lift your arms from your head to do a crunch. Gradually return to the start position. Repeat the set.




3. Two-Point Bridge:

Stand in the press-up position. Put your hands below your shoulders. Lock the core to ensure a straight posture from head to heels. Tighten your abs and lift your left foot and right arm till they are in the same line. Avoid any movement of the hips. Slowly, get back to the start position. Repeat and then switch sides.

4. Flutter Kick:

This is an easy exercise. All you have to do is lie on your back and lift your heels a few inches above the ground by contracting your core position. Then, lift one leg and lower it—just like how you do while swimming.

5. Say ‘No’ To Carbs:

Avoid white potatoes, white bread, soda beverages, etc as they are fat storing products.Instead, include whole-wheat breads, oatmeal, vegetables, brown rice and sweet potatoes in your diet plan for men. These foods will boost your muscle recovery and growth.




6. Drink Water:

Any exercise and fitness regime is incomplete without emphasizing on the importance of water. So, drink plentiful.
