If you don’t like one, you will certainly fall in love with the other one.

Yes, mangoes are sweet and sugary but that doesn’t mean they are unhealthy. Rich in vitamins and minerals, this fruit makes the body feel fuller. It has fibre in huge amounts and thus, boosts the digestive function of the body by burning extra calories. So if you are worried about gaining a few kilograms, don’t be!
3. It Keeps Cholesterol In Check:
Since it has a high level of vitamin C, pectin and fibres, it helps in lowering serum cholesterol levels. The plant leaves contain mangiferin which have proved to be extremely beneficial in reducing cholesterol levels.
4. It Is Great As A Body Scrub:
Want to pamper your skin in a cost effective fashion? Make a paste of mashed mango, honey and milk and apply it all over your body. Since the mixture is a little coarse, it acts as a body scrub. Let your body soak in the paste for a few minutes. And then wash yourself with lukewarm water. You will have a skin that is tender and smooth!

Mangoes are rich in antioxidants such as quercetin, isoquercitrin, astragalin, fisetin, gallic acid and methyl gallate that protect the body against a number of ailments such as colon, breast, lung, leukemia and prostate cancers. This fruit inhibits the growth of cancer cells. Apart from this, it also prevents hypertension, cough and keeps the intestines clean.
