5 Food Habits That Don’t Let You Lose Weight

1. Snacks Containing Carbs:

2. Nutritional Bars:

We agree they are extremely delicious and filling but they add to the body’s total weight despite giving you an adrenaline rush for 15 minutes! A healthy diet plan should include consistent intake of fiber to not only stave off hunger but also improve digestive health.

3. Low-Fat Foods:

Ever bought and eaten those low-fat cheese slices, yoghurt and butter? There’s no doubt that such foods are low in fat. But when manufacturers remove fat from food, they invariably end up removing some flavour as well. To make up for lost taste, they add sugar. And, that is why you gain weight!

4. Juices:

For instance, when you drink orange or apple juice, you end up consuming all the calories from the fruit. Its juice doesn’t contain any natural fibers and this leads to a spike in blood sugar levels. Moreover, fructose present in fruits tricks your body into believing it’s still empty which is why you end up drinking more of that fruit juice.

5. Alcohol:

If you like to drink every now and then listen up! Alcohol supports weight gain, no matter how much you control its intake. Not only this, it even makes you eat more which is why you drunk-eat pizza and not salads!
