After learning of the “miraculous” recovery of paralysis victim Jonathan Pangborn (Benjamin Bratt), Strange journeys to Tibet in search of the mysterious temple of Kamar-Taj. 3. Untold details:

The movie does not go into details of how long it took strange to gain his “powers” which cinematographically works better as it gives an element of mysteriousness but for the fans who need every tiny detail, it leaves them high and dry wondering and making up their own theories.
Though at first Strange uses these mystic arts for selfish purposes, he is soon presented with the role of the “Earth’ssorcerers”. With the 3D effects, you don’t merely watch Doctor Stranger’s astral projection trip through the dazzling interdimensional cosmos — you experience it.

4. Similarities:

It has also been observed in most of the marvel movies that the hero happens to be his own worst villain. Doctor strange without any of its extremes tells a very down to earth tale that when all else fails, we all go and search for magic. In its complexity, Stephen Strange did the same. Strange’s gaining new mystical power marks his journey towards humility.
