1. Protein Pancakes :

Having protein pancakes for breakfast is a great way to begin the day. Not only is the recipe easy to make but also the ingredients are easily available. They are tasty to eat, fun to make, and you get some extra protein without increasing the amount of your food.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cottage cheese
  • 1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free)
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions:

  • Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend till the batter is smooth.
  • Place a large frying pan over medium heat and add some butter to it.
  • Pour ¼ cup of batter to the pan and repeat the same until the pan is filled. You can easily make 2 to 3 pancakes in a single go.
  • Cook the pancakes till the time to start to see bubbles forming. Flip once done and cook the other side until golden brown.
  • Repeat the same unless all the batter has been used up.

2. Hot chicken sandwich :

A sandwich is probably the easiest recipe to make on your own. You can add anything and everything you like to make a sandwich for lunch. Here is an easy recipe for a filling sandwich for lunch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 sub roll or bun (slice it in half)
  • 2 large frozen chicken tenders (easily available in stores)
  • 2 tbsp hot wing sauce
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  • Cook the chicken tender according to the instructions given in the packet.
  • While the tenders are hot, toss them in hot wing sauce and add to the sliced roll sub.

  • Place the sandwich in an oven heated to 260 degree Celsius until the edges are brown and the cheese is melted.

3. Tomato basil soup :

Not only is this recipe easy to make but it cab as well double up for pasta sauce. As tomatoes are full of antioxidants it is as well beneficial for your body. Plus it as well makes up for a great dinner for one!

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup finely diced onion
  • 2 cups of diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Few basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Place a large pot over medium heat, add the olive oil and sauté the onions until soft and translucent.
  • Add the tomatoes to the pot, a little water and cover the pot. Bring the mixture to boil.
  • Let the mixture cool down, add it to a blender, add the basil leaves and blend the mixture until smooth.
  • Add the seasoning accordingly and if required pour the mixture back to the pot and reheat before consuming.
